They understand the client's business requirements, technical requirements and competitive landscape. They provide demonstrated technical sales support which may include: collaboration with IBM security intelligence sales teams to define, design, and detail the technical aspects and feasibility of proposed solutions; deliver Proof of Concepts; support critical situations; design solutions; develop and deliver technical education; answer technical questions and coordinate additional resources as needed. When engaged for a specific opportunity or project, they are responsible for the technical accuracy of the proposed solution. Technical Sales Specialist - Forensics will be responsible for all aspects of technical sales for IBM Security Intelligence solutions specializing in Network Forensics. Working with the local security intelligence account team they analyze IT security requirements as it relates to network forensics of Business Partners, enterprise and strategic clients, select appropriate IBM solutions, demonstrations, client workshops and presentations, architecturally design security solutions, leading complex Proof of Technology (PoTs)/ Proof of Concept (PoCs), providing technical assistance with intra-brand products and support quotes / pricing and other proposal development activities. The Technical Sales Specialist Network Forensics will work on selected enterprise and strategic opportunities at any particular time to provide a more consistent relationship during the technical sales cycle. Required At least 1 year experience in networking products and understanding protocols. Basic knowledge in World wide, regional and local regulatory compliance mandates At least 5 years experience in proven ability to design and demonstrate winning Security solutions Readiness to travel 50% travel annually English: Fluent Preferred Bachelor's Degree At least 1 year experience in One or more of the following industries: Financial Mkts, Government, Retail, Telecommunications At least 2 years experience in Installing, configuring, and managing one or more of the following technologies - log management, SIEM, risk management or network behavior tools At least 5 years experience in technical pre-sales Selling enterprise solutions in the Security market with strong history of success. Basic knowledge in security Information and Event Management Basic knowledge in network forensics methodologies.
